STOCKTON, CA - The man who had a cellphone photo of his 6-year-old son pointing a handgun was arraigned in a Stockton court Friday on a variety of weapon and drug charges.
Raul Gonzalez, 22, was arrested Wednesday after a raid, along with his Ricardo, 18. Police were startled later to see the photo of a boy, in a car seat, holding one of the guns that was seized during the police operation.

After the arraignment Friday, prosecutor Michael Mulvihill expressed great concern for the boy's future.
"We have parents handing a child a .45 caliber gun. There's no excuse for that whatsoever. This child is on track right now to think criminal activity is OK. The likelihood of him offending is much higher, given the environment he's in," said Mulvihill.
Seized from the east Stockton home of the Gonzalez brothers were large amounts of drugs, an assault weapon, and cash. Mulvihill said the two would face years in state prison if convicted of charges.
Police said the boy is now out of the home, and in the custody of his mother.
