LONDON (AP) - A sore loser and a poor tweeter. A Swiss soccer player has been given the boot from the London games.
The Swiss Olympic team says Michel Morganella "insulted and violated the dignity" of South Korea's soccer team and its citizens.
After Switzerland lost to South Korea, Morganella tweeted that the South Koreans "can go burn" and that they were a "bunch of mongoloids." He's since apologized.
Morganella is the second athlete kicked off an Olympics team for offensive Twitter comments. A Greek triple jumper was sent home for tweets that mocked African immigrants.
