TRACY, CA - The morning commute through Tracy on westbound I-205 took considerably longer on Tuesday, due to an overturned big rig that blocked all but one lane of the interstate.
According to officer Rich Wetzel of the California Highway Patrol, the truck wrecked around 1:00 a.m. near the Mountain House Parkway exit of I-205.
The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash and the contents of the truck were classified as non-hazardous according to Wetzel.
CHP and auto assistance crews were able to right the truck and open the number three lane by 3:19 a.m. The number number one and two lanes were reopened around 6:00 a.m.
Wetzel did not indicate what CHP officers believe caused the truck to overturn.
