SACRAMENTO - Sacramento County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man suspected of robbing three Sacramento GameStop stores on June 26.

Deputy Jason Ramos of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said the heists, committed at GameStops on the 3100 block of Arden Way, the 2800 block of Marconi Ave., and the 6300 block of Garfield Ave., all occurred within a one-hour period.

According to Ramos, the robber, entered each store, showed a small, chrome handgun and demanded money from store employees.

Continuing investigations into the incidents resulted in the man being linked to several other armed robberies in Bay Area cities including El Cerrito, Pittsburg, Vallejo, Richmond and San Jose. Those robberies date back to May 30th of this year, said Ramos.

The robber was described as a black man between 20 to 25 years old, 6'1" to 6'5" tall, weighing 190 to 200 pounds. He wore a dreadlock-style wig during the robberies.

Anyone with information on the man or his whereabouts was asked to call the Sheriff's Robbery Bureau at (916) 874-5051.
