Head-on crash in Yolo County involving a truck and United Cerebral Palsy bus, July 11, 2012
DAVIS, CA - A third fatality has been confirmed from last Wednesday's head-on collision in Davis between a United Cerebral Palsey bus and a Ford F-250 truck.
Personnel from Mercy San Juan Hospital confirmed that Laura Sue Weiderholt died on Friday, July 13 from injuries sustained in the crash.
The wreck occurred on County Road 102 when a man driving the Ford swerved into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with the bus.

Luz Maria Torres, the driver of the bus, was listed in critical condition at U. C. Davis Medical Center as of Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. She was scheduled to undergo surgery for her injuries on Monday.
No updates were provided on the conditions of the other passengers injured in the collision.
