SACRAMENTO - A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car on Howe Avenue in North Sacramento around 9:50 p.m. Thursday night.

Sgt. Troy Rivers of the California Highway Patrol said the motorcyclist was heading south on Howe Avenue when he collided with a Dodge Charger making a u-turn.

The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and died at the scene, said Rivers.

Friday, California Highway Patrol spokeswoman Officer Lizz Dutton said the victim was Xu Lujin, 23, of Sacramento.

Rivers said CHP was still investigating the incident, but initial findings did not lead them to believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
