SACRAMENTO - A house in the Garden Highway area was destroyed by fire Monday morning.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. at a home located near the Teal Bend Golf Club.
The house collapsed because of the flames.
Firefighters are still on the scene investigating how it started. They believe someone lived in the home, but are not sure if was occupied at the time of the fire.
