Natomas bar shooting leaves 1 dead and 2 more injured

SACRAMENTO - The police department is investigating an early Saturday morning shooting that leaves 1 man dead a 2 injured.

 The Sacramento Police Department responded to a bar in the 3200 block of Northgate Blvd at 1:42 a.m.

When units arrived, officers located one victim with a fatal gunshot wound. A short time later, police

were notified that two additional subjects had also been shot while at the bar and were receiving treatment at area hospitals. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The victim found at the scene has only been described as a 38-year-old-man. His name is not being released at this time.

Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances and motive that led to the shooting.
