SACRAMENTO, CA - Many NBA fans were watching the finals at the Firestone Public House bar, although the Kings aren't in it, the support is still there for the home team.
"I don't like the Maloofs but I like the team, I still support them, " fan Will Maddingly said.
Some said Sacramento deserves a home team, even though it doesn't have an arena deal, which dissolved last April when Kings owners, the Maloof Family, bowed out of a deal with the city of Sacramento.
Comments by NBA Commissioner David Stern Tuesday indicate support for relocating the team isn't there and the team will likely stay in Sacramento.

"That's good news. When arena deal didn't happen, I didn't back out," fan Manpreet Mattu said. "Politics were involved, as a fan I hope they will stay for many years."
Some season ticket holders vowed they would not return to the team next seaon after the arena deal fell apart. Tickets for the 2012-2013 season are now on sale.
