STOCKTON, CA - The man that Stockton police believed to be Thursday's pharmacy robber was arrested at a local hospital Saturday morning.

According to the Stockton Police Department, 31-year-old Jermaine Smith was admitted to a local hospital Thursday night after reports of a man being shot in North Stockton. The description matched that of the attempted robbery suspect that had been shot at by a Stockton Pharmacy employee.
Police say Smith was medically cleared to leave the hospital Saturday morning and that he admitted to being the robbery suspect.
Smith was arrested for robbery and violation of parole. He was then booked into the San Joaquin County jail.
