Paws to Read: Reading to dogs improves a child's fluency

SACRAMENTO - Sacramento students paired up with a few 4-legged friends at Belle Cooledge Library to work on their reading skills.

A study conducted at U.C. Davis found that kids who read to dogs improved their fluency by up to 30%.
