CERES, CA - A man was found deceased in the driveway of a Ceres home Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
Stanislaus County sheriff's Sgt. Anthony Bejaran said the discovery was at a residence on the 5200 block of Prairie Flower Road. Deputies were called to investigate at 4:12 p.m.
It wasn't immediately known how the man died.
Bejaran said sheriff's detectives were working with the Modesto Police Department to investigate the possibility that the man was shot and injured during a shootout in Modesto and then dumped at the Ceres residence after the man died.
