Metro Fire arrests arson suspect in February fire case

SACRAMENTO, CA - Metro Fire Arson Investigators have made an arrest in a vehicle fire that occurred in February.

According to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Assistant Chief Scott Cockrum, an arrest was made Friday for the suspected arsonist responsible for a vehicle fire in the 4900 block of Tacomic Drive on the night of Feb 9.

Feb 9 Metro Fire was dispatched to manage an inflamed vehicle. Upon examination they believed that the fire was suspicious, so they requested an arson investigator on the scene.The investigation then determined that the fire was intentionally caused.

A warrant was issued for suspected arsonist Analesha Haynes,22, on March 2 and Friday she was arrested for arson to property and taken to the Sacramento County Jail.
