NEAR WALNUT GROVE, CA - A woman who fell off a dock into the Sacramento River is alive after fire crews saved her life.
Crews responded to the 13900 River Road by the Boat House Marina in Locke. They searched for the woman after she did not surface for several minutes.
Rescue crews eventually located the woman and pulled her out of the water.
"They were able to locate her a few minutes after we got on scene down further in the dock area in between a couple of boats in the water," said Jim Collentine, the Chief of Operations of the DART Team.
The woman is being treated for hypothermia.
