LINDEN, CA - San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office and Public Works are conducting the second day of the Linden well search.
This is part of the ongoing search for victims of serial killers Wesley Shermantine and Loren Herzog. Shermantine claims Herzog disposed of several bodies there.
Saturday Deputy Dave Konecny with the sheriff's department said, "We're at the point now where we are getting to reasonable depths where something over the years, 20-30 years, could be down there."
"Some of the stuff down there looks at least 20 years old."
Konecny added, "The information that we have and the detectives are very confident this is the right well that we'll find what we're looking for."
