Traffic on Highway 37 after major pileup
VALLEJO, CA - A stretch of Highway 37 between Vallejo and Novato was closed Wednesday morning when as many as 30 cars were involved in a massive pileup.

According to the California Highway Patrol website, the pileup was the result of as many as five separate accidents near Skaggs Island Rd. around 7:55 a.m.
CHP did not provide a cause of the accidents, but fog was heavy in the area at the time.
No information was provided on injuries.
The CHP said officers hope to have the highway reopened by 10:30 a.m.
