Abducted girl, suspect mother may be headed to Sacramento

HAZELWOOD, MO - Authorities are on the look-out for an 11-year-old Missouri girl and her mother in what police say is a parental abduction.

The pair may be headed to Sacramento.

The Hazelwood Police Department says Gabrielle Jackson was taken by her mother after school Monday afternoon.

The girl is described as black with a light complexion, brownish-red hair and blue eyes. She is 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 85 pounds. when last seen, Jackson wore a pink and purple pea coat, blue jeans, black shoes and had a black backpack with silver hearts on it.

The mother is Cecilia Montez, 38. She is Hispanic, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say the two are possibly traveling in a dark-color minivan with dark-tinted windows.

Hazelwood is a suburb of St. Louis. Jackson was reported missing from the 700 block of Lynn Haven Lane at 4 p.m. Monday.
