5 arrested in connection to Marysville murder

MARYSVILLE, CA - Five people have been arrested in connection to the shooting death of a Marysville man.

Police responded to the 1100 block of Arthur Street around 3 p.m. Saturday after getting reports of a shooting, police spokesman Chris Sachs said. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 38-year-old man lying on the street with a gunshot wound.

Sachs said the man was transported to Rideout Memorial Hospital where he later died.

On Saturday, William Vincent Silliman, 21, was arrested for conspiracy to commit murder, Sachs said.

Early Sunday morning, police arrested two adults and two juveniles for conspiracy to commit murder. Kari Felicia Mulkey, 20, and David Leslis Eneix, 27, were booked into Yuba County Jail, Sachs said. A 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were booked into Bi-County Juvenile Hall.

Police continue to look for the alleged shooter Marcus Nelson Hume, 32. Sachs said Hume is considered armed and dangerous.
