DAVIS, CA - Davis police say they think poor visibility due to heavy fog contributed to what has become a fatal pedestrian collision.

Megan Glanville, 25, died Thursday at UC Davis Medical Center from injuries she suffered when she was struck by a a Ford pick-up truck while crossing Russell Road Wednesday, said Lt. Paul Doroshov.

Police do not think alcohol or drugs played a role but continue to investigate. The 61-year-old driver has not been cited.
