2011 Gamers' Choice Awards nominees announced

The nominees for the 2011 Gamers' Choice Awards have been revealed.  The Gamers' Choice Awards gives gamers worldwide a chance to weigh in and decide what the best games are in seven different genre categories, six console-specific categories, what the most anticipated game of 2012 is, and what game takes home the coveted Game of the Year award.

Voting begins midday on Monday, December 26th.  A link will be posted at the time of the voting period's launch.  As a special "thank you" to all who vote in the 2011 Gamers' Choice Awards, voters can select one of three gaming prize packs to win via a random drawing after the voting period ends on January 9th, 2012.

Award nominees were chosen among the more than 100 video games reviewed by the editors and writers for News10's Game Guys over the course of 2011.  Winning games will be announced in January 2012.
