MANTECA, CA - Four students from Veritas Elementary School in Manteca are being disciplined after putting urine in a teachers cup and letting her take a sip.

The stunt happened on Monday in an upper grade classroom at the school.  Principal Tracie Crawford wouldn't identify the exact grade or the teacher.

"Sometimes students think something is funny and it's more serious than they anticipated," said Crawford.

Parents picking up their children Thursday afternoon at Veritas expressed deep disappointment.

"I didn't think it was funny at all.  If they were my kids, I'd be highly disappointed and upset, it's disgusting.  It's not like switching apple juice for coffee," said Frank Orono.

"This is a total lack of respect for adults.  I totally put this on the parents.  You need to raise your children right," said Victoria Kahn.

Manteca police took a report on the incident but declined to charge a crime since the children were so young.
