STOCKTON, CA - A shootout at the El Altenos Bar Saturday around 2:23 a.m. injured four people and killed a fifth person.
A large group of people, about 30 to 40 men and women, plus teen "rushed into the bar" on 2303 E. Main St. before a large fight broke out, said Stockton police Lt. Jeff Coon.
Coon said numerous shots were fired into the crowd.
Three men, ages 43, 31 and 25, were transported to a hospital for treatment. Two other men, ages 28 and 27, were admitted in to Dameron Hospital on their own.
Coon said one of the victims was treated and released, another victim died at the hospital.
Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
