Jimmer Fredette arrives in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA - Close to 200 Kings fans gave Jimmer Fredette and the newest members of the Sacramento Kings a royal welcome as they arrived in the Capitol City Friday evening at Sacramento International Airport.

"It was a great reception, obviously the fans are really excited," Fredette said. "Still trying to get used to this, it is a little more natural now, but it really exciting when you see this type of fan base coming out support you, you always get excited and want to perform well for them."
The Kings selected Fredette with the 10th overall pick, after a three way trade involving Charlotte and Milwaukee. He led the nation in scoring with 29 points for game at BYU, and there is no doubt he is quickly becoming a fan favorite.
Also joining Fredette, second round picks Tyler Honeycutt who played forward for UCLA and Washington point guard Isaiah Thomas.
"We can't wait to get this season started and go out there to wear the Kings new uniform, hopefully have a great season," Fredette added.
The three newest members of the Kings will make an appearance at the Arden Fair Mall on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
