SONORA, CA - A 20-year-old Sonora man is facing serious charges after allegedly tieing up and beating a former girlfriend to force her into giving him her ATM card and personal identification number, say Tuolumne County authorities.
Sgt. Jeff Wilson with the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested Edward Lee Jones Friday evening. Jones is suspected of false imprisonment, domestic violence, death threats, violations of a court order and robbery. He was booked into county jail.
