Madisun Eisenbeis on Veronica's Blog
LODI, CA - A teenager from Lodi gets to live her dream after she lands a part in a Disney pilot episode.
Just 14 years old, Madisun Eisenbeis is already a veteran of movies and TV shows.
"She was probably 9 or 10 when she got interested in [acting], but we didn't allow her," Madisun's mother Mandi Eisenbeis said. "Every kid has pipe dreams where they want to be a movie star, but it usually doesn't stick for very long."
So, Mandi made some conditions.
If it was something Madisun really wanted, then she would have to keep a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the following three years and show she was responsible. Well, guess what. Madisun did it, so Mandi had to keep her part of the bargain.
With Grandmother Patricia Towle acting as her agent, Madisun got her first job as an extra on the movie Fiona's Script.
"It was a great first project for her," said Towle. "She got to see how things were done both inside and outside. She learned a lot about cameras and directors and moving from place to place. It was a great learning experience for her."
After that, she landed her first speaking part.
"It was a wafer cookie commercial," said Madisun. "It was basically a bunch of kids in an administration office and we were all sitting around this big table eating cookies."
Madisun became a regular on the CW network situation comedy VERONICA'S BLOG.
Now, Madisun heads to Disney to film a pilot.
At first, Madisun wasn't told she won the role; instead, she was asked to return for, what she thought, was an audition for a bubble gum commercial.
When she found out the truth?
"I was overwhelmed," Madisun said, "that's the word!"
Disney is keeping details of the show under wraps until the air date gets closer.
