STOCKTON, CA - A Stockton bank's surveillance cameras captured several very clear images of a suspected bank robber, according to police.

Now Stockton police hope someone will recognize the man and come forward.

Stockton Police Department spokesman Officer Pete Smith said a man approached a teller at the BBVA Compass Bank on the 2500 block of Pacific Avenue Monday at 12:54 p.m. and demanded money. The man threatened to have a weapon, Smith said.

After getting cash, the man rode away on a bicycle, witnesses said. He was described as black and in his late 20s to early 30s.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Stockton police at (209) 937-8377.
