Police say Tracy robber may have also robbed other Valley banks

Tracy, CA - Police in Tracy are looking for a man who robbed the Bank of America Monday and may also be responsible for a string of robberies in Modesto, Vacaville and Fairfield.

The man went into the Bank of America on 10th Street at 4:40 p.m on Monday and robbed the teller at gunpoint. Witnesses said the man was between 20 and 30 years old, and was wearing a black beanie, a black puffy jacket and dark jeans. He was armed with a dark, semi-automatic handgun and was carrying a plastic grocery bag, according to police.

Investigators said they have information from other law enforcement agencies that the man might also have robbed the Rabobank on Tracy Boulevard on December 6 as well as other banks in Modesto, Vacaville and Fairfield.
