Roseville Galleria fire aftermath
ROSEVILLE, CA - Roseville Galleria announced Tuesday that JCPenney has reopened its newly renovated store. The store was among the dozens damaged in a fire allegedly started by suspect Alexander Piggee on Oct. 21.
JCPenney spokesman Tim Lyons said the store will offer a pre-holiday Huge Sale this weekend in addition to opening at 4 a.m. on Black Friday with 300 "Doorbuster" items at low prices.
"We're getting ready for a great holiday season and our store looks better than ever," said store manager Sandy Sponable. "In this season of thanks, we are grateful to our store associates, our customers and the mall for their support through the recovery and renovation process."
Numerous stores remain closed for construction and mall officials said immense amount of work to fix a gaping hole in the roof of the building could take until November 2011.
