BODIE, CA - It's the largest unrestored ghost town in the west, left in a state of what they call "arrested decay."
These days, Bodie is a state historic park, located off Highway 395 near Bridgeport and open for visitors. Once it was a thriving Gold Rush town, the second largest city in California. But when the gold ran out, the people began to leave and soon it would become the ghost town it is today.
Jonathan Mumm pays Bodie a visit in this California Postcard report.
