Upcoming Michael Jackson Game Might Be Affected by Artist's Death

Michael Jackson, the record-breaking artist known as "King of Pop" and become the entertainment world's most influential singer and dancer, and the tabloid world's most disturbing celebrity, has died in a Los Angeles.. He was 50.

Michael Jackson has a planned video game bring released for the PS2, PS3, and Nintendo Wii this holiday season. No word yet as to whether or not the performer's death will cause a delay or cancellation of the game. The rumored video game was said to be made by MJJ Productions, a company owned by Michael Jackson himself.

The performer has had video games in the past, most notably the fairly popular Sega Genesis and coin-op arcade game Moonwalker.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a 9-1-1 call at Jackson's home in Holmby Hills shortly after 12:30 p.m. Pacific time.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Jackson was not breathing and under cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived to take him to UCLA Medial Center.

The hospital has not released information on his condition.
