Soccer is a game where you can't use your hands. But you'll need two hands if you want to experience Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 on the Nintendo Wii.

There's three different control options for this game. You can go traditional with the classic controller, or just tilt your Wii-mote horizontally. But it's much more fun to bust out the nunchuck attachment before you hit the pitch. In this mode - you'll use the Wii-mote to aim passes and shots. A point-and-click, or press-and-drag motion sends crosses to your teammates. You can also use the Wii-mote to run, by dragging it across the screen while holding the "A" button.

The game can be as easy or as complex as you want it to be. The opening menus and training guide you through the skills. There's a ton of more moves in the booklet if you really want to study up, like one-timers and headers.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 also doesn't shortchange players in the features department. You can carry your team through leagues and tournaments, or control one soccer star through an individual career. There's great controls, features, and the game even looks great on the Wii. The only complaint? The players and look of the field is a little on the small side. The zoomed-out mode is needed in order for you to see the whole field, and sometimes it can a little difficult to see who has the ball, when there's a crowd fighting for it.

But on the Wii - Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 kicks butt. It's one of those games to break out with the buds over some brews. Four-player co-operative play gets the party started.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is rated "E" for everyone, and I'm giving it an "A" grade.
