Under the auspices of our parent company, News10 is pleased to be able to offer Gannett Foundation grants to qualified nonprofit organizations. The intent of these grants is to improve the education, health and welfare of the people who live in Northern California. These contributions are our way of helping to improve the quality of life and addressing the most pressing community issues.
We value projects which take a creative approach to such fundamental issues as education, neighborhood improvement, economic development, youth development, community problem-solving, assistance to disadvantaged people, environmental conservation and cultural enrichment.
HOW TO APPLY FOR FUNDS
If your organization is located in the News10 service area, and your program primarily serves citizens living in that sixteen county area, you may apply to the station for a Gannett Foundation grant. If you are unsure about your organization's eligibility, please send a one-page letter of inquiry to the address at the bottom of this page. Please do NOT send proposals or inquiries directly to the Foundation offices in Tyson's Corners, Virginia. Phone calls regarding Foundation grants are not accepted.

Generally, applicants should plan on 60 to 90 days for processing and a decision. The management of News10 will notify applicants of decisions and send contributions.
