'Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken' for PlayStation Vita from publisher Ratloop Asia.
Independent video game publisher/developer Ratloop Asia has announced plans to bring its platform adventure game, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, to North American PlayStation Vitas next week.
The company states that the game has already seen success in Asia, despite being a available only to PlayStation Plus members. Since its Asian launch, it has remained one of the top three downloads on the platform.
In Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, the original "Coq of War" sets out on a mission to assassinate the tyrannical penguin leader therefore taking down the evil regime that has taken over Albatropolis. This title will feature Vita-specific controls such as tilting screens, ad-hoc and Online co-op play, and two difficulty settings. The Vita version has a new end boss not found in the 2011 PlayStation 3 version as well as several modified levels.
PlayStation 3 owners who already have Rocketbirds on the home console will be granted two additional co-op characters when they download the Vita version: Sniper Budgie and Agent H.
Ratloop Asia has further stated that PlayStation Plus users should be on the lookout for special offers including Rocketbirds during the month of February.
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is rated "M for Mature" by the ESRB and will be available on PlayStation Network in North America on February 12, 2013.
