Prior to joining News10, Monica was with News10's sister station, WXIA-TV in Atlanta.  There she was the morning and noon meteorologist.  Before that, she worked as the weeknight meteorologist at KTXL-TV and morning weather personality for KRXQ-FM in Sacramento.  She got her start in broadcast meteorology at WKAG-TV in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, where she was the weeknight weathercaster.

Monica is a member of the National Weather Association and holds the NWA Seal of Approval. She is a former president of the local chapter of the American Meteorology Society, which is comprised of current and former area weather professionals.
