Gregg Lalka joined the News10 team in June 2005. Gregg came to News10 with extensive reporting and weather experience across the country. From the Big Apple to the Biggest Little City and now the Capital City, Gregg has handled all sorts of stories.
Gregg’s career began at WMBC-TV in West Caldwell, New Jersey, where he reported during the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001. He also provided reports for News 12 , Metro Traffic and Weather Networks in New York City before moving to Reno, Nevada, in 2003. There, Gregg served as a general assignment reporter and weathercaster for the CBS affiliate KTVN. He covered such stories as Presidential visits and numerous wildfires, including the Waterfall Fire of 2004.
Prior to beginning his career in broadcasting, Gregg spent over three years attending college in Japan and is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. He has also appeared in commercials in the New York City area and enjoys video production in his free time. The Mahwah, New Jersey, native is an avid New York Yankees fan and is happy to be a resident in California for the first time (even though he only gets to watch the A’s and Giants).
Gregg currently serves as News10’s Midday weathercaster and as a general assignment reporter.
