Kelly Jackson co-anchors News10 Good Morning with Dan Elliott, Monica Woods and Melissa Crowley.

Kelly joined News10 on April 2, 2007. She came to our News10 family from our sister station, KSDK, NewsChannel 5 in St. Louis where she started as a reporter in January 1998. Her career at KSDK began by co-anchoring Today in St. Louis at 5 a.m.

She also has been a host/reporter for Show-Me St. Louis, the station’s weekday half-hour program dedicated to the good things in St. Louis.

Prior to joining NewsChannel 5, Kelly was a reporter at WKBD-TV in Detroit, Michigan. Kelly also spent nearly four years as an anchor and reporter at WCMH-TV in Columbus, Ohio and has worked at stations in Waterloo, Iowa and in her hometown of Quincy, Illinois.

Kelly has a degree in radio and television broadcasting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

Kelly is an active community volunteer and helped raise money for the American Diabetes Association by running marathons. Kelly completed her first marathon in 1999 in St. Louis. She continues to train for upcoming marathons and talks about her activities urging others to exercise and follow their dreams. She has also worked with the Girl Scouts of America and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America.

When she isn’t out running, Kelly is an avid movie fan and enjoys reading.
