Biography: Dana Howard
 
Anchor/Reporter Dana Howard joined News10 in September, 1992. He currently anchors the weekend editions of News10 alongside Alicia Malaby. During the week, he handles a wide variety of reporting assignments, often putting his expertise in consumer issues to work.

In his more than 20 years of working in broadcast news, Dana has won multiple Emmy Awards and Associated Press Awards along with Best of the West, New Orleans Press Club and RTNDA.

Prior to working for News10, Dana was a reporter for WWL in New Orleans, Louisiana, and for KHSL-TV in Chico, California. He also worked as an assignment editor for KPIX-TV in San Francisco.

He and his family are passionate about supporting programs helping homeless women with children. When not working or volunteering, he and his son spend every chance they get snowboarding.

Dana earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and Communications from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Originally from Los Angeles, Dana and his family live in Elk Grove.
