 News10's award winning reporter Tim Daly joined the station in September, 1991. Tim is a news reporter/fill-in anchor based in the News 10 San Joaquin Valley newsroom.
Although he covers a wide range of stories, including live breaking news, his primary coverage area includes San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Calaveras, and Amador counties. Tim has filled in as both a news and sports as anchor when needed.
Through the years, Tim has covered a number of major stories, including the trials Ellie Nesler, Charles Ng, Cary Stayner and Scott Peterson.
Tim is active in the community, frequently speaking to groups and appearing at events in San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties.
Before joining News10, Tim worked for KGW, Channel 8, in Portland, Oregon; for KOLD, Channel 13, in Tucson, Arizona; and at KTSM, Channel 9, in El Paso, Texas.
Tim graduated from San Jose State University in 1981. He is married and has two daughters. In his spare time, Tim enjoys music and sports.
