Melissa Crowley handles the News10 traffic desk, presenting a series of reports every weekday on News10 Good Morning.
Melissa is also a reporter with a particular expertise in state politics.
Before joining News10, Melissa was a reporter and anchor for PBS based in Sacramento. In that capacity, she covered public policy and government in the state.
Prior to coming to California, she also served as a reporter and anchor at WZTV in Nashville. While there, she received an award for bringing national exposure to animal dumping bins in Tennessee.
Melissa has also worked as a morning anchor and reporter in Beaumont, Texas, where she learned to enjoy working the sunrise shift.
Melissa is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She enjoys being involved in career day and mentoring opportunities and has been honored to emcee the statewide California Distinguished Schools Awards ceremony for the past several years.
Melissa has called Sacramento home for several years, although she originally hails from Massachusetts. While growing up, she loved to write and read and has kept a journal since age seven.
