Angel is a Traffic Reporter for News10. He joined the team in August 2001, starting in the Engineering Department by operating studio cameras, floor directing and operating the teleprompter.

Angel is regularly seen on News10 Good Morning reporting traffic from Air10. He also reports traffic from the studio on News10 at 5 and 6.

Angel has experience in sports radio for ESPN Radio, The Associated Press and Fox Sports Radio. He gave live national updates for Sacramento Kings home games while interviewing players and coaches.

Angel grew up in West Sacramento and attended River City High School where he excelled in football. Angel is a graduate of Saint Mary's College of California where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. He received a partial scholarship to play football for the Saint Mary's Gaels. Angel was a defensive back and wide receiver.

In his spare time, Angel enjoys writing music, playing flag football, working out, reading, or just hanging out with his Jack Russell terrier puppy "Joe Montana."
