A marathon runner, Marcey Brightwell has plenty of experience chasing down political newsmakers.
She joined News10 in 2001 as a political reporter. She has extensive experience covering government related issues and the State Capitol. Prior to coming to News10, she spent seven years as Bureau Chief/Correspondent for Capitol Television News Service, a Sacramento-based political television newsfeed serving two dozen stations throughout California.
Marcey landed her first television job in in Redding, California at KRCR-TV, where she spent three years as an anchor/reporter. She gained her love for California politics as a Government/Journalism Major at CSU Sacramento.
A political junkie, Marcey spends her spare time running, reading and classic boating.
