
Ahead of a weekend event where a Sacramento salon will offer stylish cuts for a great price, News10 Meteorologist Monica Woods allowed salon owner Ken Schultz to clip her hair in order to raise awareness for an HIV/AIDS ride fundraiser Friday.

Cut-A-Thon
SACRAMENTO, CA - Ahead of a weekend event where a Sacramento salon will offer stylish cuts for a great price, News10 Meteorologist Monica Woods allowed salon owner Ken Schultz to clip her hair in order to raise awareness for an HIV/AIDS ride fundraiser Friday.
Space 07 Salon stylists visited the News10 studios to promote their Cut-A-Thon, Sunday April 18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Stylists will donate their proceeds to fund the 330-mile, four-day Nor/Cal cycling ride from May 20-23. The event raises money for the the Central Valley HIV/AIDS service providers and research.
Prices will range from $25 for a shampoo, cut and style. For a barber cut with no shampoo, the cost will be $15.
